When I was in a relationship, or at least fucking someone on a regular, it was a-given that we would have holiday sex. What is holiday sex? For some it is the wonderful conclusion to a day of celebrating and sharing. Whether or not it is better than non-holiday sex is up for debate; however, holiday sex is a-given, almost obligatory in relationships.
Traditional Fucking Holidays:
New Year's Eve - bringing in the new year with a bang, even if you would prefer it be an out with the old and in the new kind of year
Valentine's Day - though not an official holiday, it is the official fuck day
St. Patrick's Day - again, not an official holiday, it's the official drinking day & sex is a by-product
Memorial Day - it's a 3-day weekend, of course there's gonna be sex
Independence Day - the grilling, fireworks and patriotism, etc. is a strange and intoxicating aphrodisiac
Labor Day - again, the 3-day weekend rule
Columbus Day - the 3-day weekend rule is applicable here as well
Halloween - like St. Patrick's Day, it is not an official holiday; however, adults get to indulge our costume and dress-up fantasies, while drinking and partying, thus fucking is a by-product
Veterans Day - if you or your significant other have returned home from combat, it is one hellava fuck day, for the rest of us...not so much a celebrated one
Thanksgiving Day - after all the cooking, eating, drinking, family and stress, a good fuck is the only thing left on the menu, especially if you are thankful for the person you are with
Christmas Eve/Day - this is the holiday of sharing and giving, so going that extra mile for your partner is warranted
There are also other special days, birthdays, anniversaries and Superbowl Sunday, in which fucking is an implied beginning or end to the day. Let me add to the list, election night 2008 sex, for many, may have been better than Christmas sex, and Inauguration 2009 sex, which has the potential to move to holiday status.

I agree that sex in marriage does become obligatory. That's not to say you love fucking any less. But after a 10-12 hour work day, husband, children, house upkeep/chores and dinner, sex can become like another task. Divorced two yrs now but I was always up to task. My version of the peacekeeper. Needless to say season was no reason since it was a few times daily at our house. Like a lot of the ladies here I so miss it!
i've just realized i can't have sex after thanksgiving. the "whatever he is to me" was gonna drive down to see me this weekend and all i could think of was how bloated and fat i feel, so i told him to come next weekend. now i'm fat, bloated...and horny as hell. DAMN.
Good thing it's an extended weekend, I guess I got time to get my portion.
lol...now this is funny on so many levels. Superbowl Sunday is a holiday. It feels like Christmas to me. I'm extra generous on this day...i even eat it.
