SONGS THEY COULD SING #789 ...APRIL IS NATIONAL POETRY MONTH

In celebration of April Is National Poetry Month. Here is a lovely poem by Akua Lezli Hope, EROTIQUE NOIRE/BLACK EROTICA

Fill me, fill me 'til i choke
felt i felt you to my throat
pressed my womb against my spine
rocked me to the edge of time

rode on to another space
lost all sense of sight and place
found a formless warming sound
wrapped and clung so tight, so round.

suddenly a starstung night
suddenly an azure wing
suddenly, another me.

me another and a one
being that this flight becomes
there is no earth without the sky
and no night without the sun
