Since Summer's here & it's a time that most of us get Flirty & Fancy-Free, this first week of Tuesday Tootie Treats I'm putting one of our sidebars (ALL Real Pussies Plan 2 Play Safely) on Front Street:
STDs, HIV & Safer Sex:
Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are caused by sexually transmitted infections. They are passed from one person to another during sexual or intimate contact. Sexually transmitted infections are very common. More than half of all of us will get one at some time in our lives.
Sexually transmitted infections may or may not cause symptoms. Medically, an infection is called a disease only when it is causing symptoms. But it’s very common for people to use the terms "sexually transmitted diseases" or "STDs," whether or not symptoms are present.
Reading about the different kinds of STDs can be helpful, whether you may have an STD or are just curious about STDs. Use the list below to find out about each kind of STD.
- Chlamydia
- Cytomegalovirus (CMV)
- Gonorrhea
- Hepatitis B
- Herpes
- HIV/AIDS
- HPV & Genital Warts
- Intestinal Parasites
- Molluscum Contagiosum
- Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID)
- Pubic Lice
- Scabies
- Syphilis
- Trichomoniasis
Most of us want to protect ourselves and each other from STDs. Practicing safer sex allows us to reduce our risk of sexually transmitted diseases. And if we’ve done anything that puts us at risk of infection, getting tested allows us to get any treatments we may need.
The caring staff at your local Planned Parenthood health center can talk with you about STDs and help you get any testing or treatment you may need.

"After all that talk last week about eating out - gotta make sure she's RIGHT & READY;-)."
So true...
Yes our health is our wealth! As Grown folks we have to err on the side of proper care and check-ups.
There are a lot of folks who are coming out of long-term relationships and may not be prepared to just jump right into sexual relationships with new people. Being familiar with STDS and how to prevent them will go along way in maintaining your sexual health and fitness.
A powerful PUSSY is a healthy PUSSY!
Our health is the very definition of our wealth...I believe this wholeheartedly, so much so, I had something to add in the form of another post...I'm sure it'll show up round these parts soon!
Knowledge is power;so many thanks for increasing my power! ;)
here's a pussy pampering tip!
1) when taking a bubble baths, don't dump half a bottle of mr. bubble just to get foam action, just a cap ful or two will do. too much bubble bath will set off yeast infections
2nd 68 - u KNOW this is right & I KNOW u help the mrs. take GOOD care! share tips & suggestions, please!
Sistah Babz - "As Grown folks we have to err on the side of proper care and check-ups." YES we DO!!
Sistah Sharon - GLAD u BACK! & you're VERY welcome;-)
Lance - thanx & great tip! We also need to know what soaps & products work well WITH & AGAINST our bodies. ME? won't go ANYWHERE NEAR Dial soap - that crap made me ITCH like a Mugg as a li'l girl! public scratching iz NOT attractive;-).
A tip I'll add here: after cleaning yourself slather yourself with natural oils. I used olive oil on the daily. For those spesh occasions I've found nubian heritage's hazelnut chocolate gets RAVE REVIEWS. I also let myself dry REAL well by air after I pat/towel dry before putting on COTTON panties.
@cap: olive oil? hazlenut chocolate? forget the panties, hop on a plate! ;-P~~~
lance - u TOO much! LOL! But one of my sisters has suggested - if u can't eat it u shouldn't put it on your skin cuz it's still going into your bloodstream. i looked at her side-eyed, but it DOES make SENSE! our skin is our largest ORGAN - not just a shield & certainly not a coat of armor;-).
